Information Assurance Analyst, Senior

Analyzes, documents, designs and develops information technology (IT) hardware and software systems including writing, modifying and adapting computer programs in high-level programming languages, and performing research on applications for hardware, software and operating systems. Uses IEEE ISO/IEC 12207:2008 - IEEE Systems and software engineering - Software life cycle processes and the SEI CMMI for Development, Version 1.3 model for guidance in providing systems and software engineering products and services.

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, mathematics or technical-related discipline from an accredited school with:
(a) A total of seven years of experience performing the foregoing functions.
(b) At least five years of the total foregoing experience consisted of practical experience in the analysis, design, and development of embedded systems and scientific applications for computer systems and networks.
(c) At least three (3) years of the total foregoing experience consisted of specific experience in design and development of combat system interfaces, two (2) of those years in ID, ECMS, or ATC equipment, systems and subsystems applications.

OR

Associate’s degree or two years of college in computer science, information technology, mathematics or technical discipline from an accredited school with:
(a) A total of ten (10) years of experience performing the foregoing functions.
(b) At least seven years of the total foregoing experience shall have consisted of practical experience in the analysis, design, and development of embedded systems and scientific applications for computer systems and networks.
(c) At least three (3) years of the total foregoing experience consisted of specific experience in design and development of combat system interfaces, two (2) of those years in ID, ECMS, or ATC equipment, systems and subsystems applications.

  • Current DOD security clearance.
