Senior Software Engineer

Coherent Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer. The individual will lead the research, design, development, integration, and testing of software components, systems, and systems of systems for manned / unmanned vehicles and special test equipment developed for complex military and aviation systems. The individual is expected to provide technical leadership and mentor junior personnel in addition to solving the most challenging software problems. Experience with service oriented architectures, virtual machines, hard and soft real-time systems, web services, and DO-178B/C is a plus.

Education

A bachelor's or postgraduate degree in an engineering or scientific discipline.

Experience

• A total of at least 10 years of professional engineering experience that consisted of performing software engineering and software programming functions.
• Post graduate degrees and very pertinent experience can also reduce the amount of professional experience required.
