Software Engineer

Coherent Technical Services, Inc is seeking a Software Engineer. The individual will research, design, develop, test, and debug software components, systems, and systems of systems for manned / unmanned vehicles and special test equipment developed for complex military and aviation systems. The individual will create prototype and initial production software capabilities by designing software and refining requirements, writing, unit testing, and debugging source code, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Academic or professional experience with service oriented architectures, virtual machines, hard and soft real-time systems, web services, and DO-178B/C is a plus.

Education

A bachelor's or postgraduate degree in an engineering or scientific discipline.

Experience

• A total of at least 5 years of professional engineering experience that consisted of performing software engineering functions.
