Electrical Engineer

Coherent Technical Services, Inc is seeking an Electrical Engineer. The individual will research, design, develop, integrate, and test electrical equipment components, electrical systems, products and networks for aircraft systems on manned / unmanned vehicles and special test equipment developed for complex embedded systems. The individual will create prototype and initial production systems by employing electronic analog and digital systems design using fundamental components, microprocessors, memories, controllers, amplifiers, filters, optical interfaces, FPGAs, ASICS, and/or PLDs.

Education

A bachelor's or postgraduate degree in an engineering or scientific discipline.

Experience

• The individual must be an expert in one of the following areas with the capability to become proficient in all others: analog system design, digital system design, and FPGA hardware design.
• The individual should be experienced with schematic entry, documenting and debugging complex electronic boards. Hardware testing experience using standard test equipment at the board level is a must.
• A total of at least 5 years of professional engineering experience that consisted of performing electrical engineering functions.
