GPS/Navigation SME
Candidate will be responsible for analyzing various Navigation and/or Guidance & Control systems for manned and unmanned aircraft. Duties will include data analysis, modeling and simulation, and onsite flight test support for various Navy and Air Force programs including Joint Precision Approach Landing System (JPALS), Navy Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle (N-UCAS), and Automated Aerial Refueling (AAR) programs. Design and Analysis of Differential GPS and/or Relative GPS system performance will also be included.
Education
Must have a BS in electronics/electrical, aerospace engineering, mathematics or physics. MS or PhD degree preferred.
Experience
- Experience with GPS and/or other Navigation Systems
- Programming in MATLAB and/or C/C++
- Additional experience desired (not required): Aircraft Guidance/Control, Flight Test and Evaluation experience, Landing Systems, Unmanned Systems, Modeling and Simulation development.
