Project Lead/Engineer
CTSi is seeking a project lead with a strong engineering background.
Provide analytical, acquisition and technical engineering support under various DOD contracts. Provide technical leadership and support in areas within the entire systems engineering lifecycle. Develop, execute and evaluate systems and software engineering processes. Develop and maintain Enterprise architecture and requirements. Performs technical analyses and provides technical input to decision makers.
Assist in the system design, development, implementation, and test activities related to engineering of functional requirements for complex software, hardware and associated support systems. Apply engineering principles to perform functional capability implementation planning, system architecture design, computer system integration and configuration management. Will be responsible for supporting segments or phases of broader, more complex projects. Assists with maintaining technical integrity and systems engineering process discipline across the entire spectrum of technical activities.
Responsible for maintaining staffing requirements for the entire team and coordinating outyear staffing plans. Provides overall coordination for team execution.
Builds/modifies briefings and other executive level documents/products using Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint. Reaches out to "subject area experts" for briefing/background information. Prepares issue/background papers and may brief senior staff on program-related topics.
Education
Bachelors degree in a engineering related field.
Experience
- Requirements include a minimum of five (5) years experience in supporting NAVAIR program management activities, a detailed understanding of the NAVAIR acquisition process, familiarity with Naval Aviation, and a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office software suite.
- Also total of at least 10 years of professional engineering experience that consisted of performing the systems engineering functions.
- Superior interpersonal skills are a must, including the ability to interact in a professional manner with senior level government managers and teammates during periods of high stress and tight deadlines.
