Systems Engineer (Networking Focus)

Coherent Technical Services, Inc is seeking an Engineer with expertise in the area of computer networking. The individual will participate in research, design, development, integration, and testing of innovative internet protocol or other emerging/experimental networks for use with manned and unmanned vehicles to support a variety of military and research programs. The position requires an understanding of internet protocols and technologies and working knowledge of computer and wireless networking, routing, and QoS protocols and related technologies, network control and management.

Please note that this is a science and technology position and NOT an IT position. The position performs research and development and not network installation, management, or maintenance.

Education

The position requires a bachelor's or postgraduate degree in an engineering or scientific discipline.

Experience

• The position requires a total of at least 3 years of professional engineering experience performing similar work.
