Program Manager

Specifically, CTSi is involved in the development of several products and technologies being leveraged for the advancement of Manned-Unmanned Teaming Programs. CTSi is seeking a Program Manager with advanced avionics development experience to lead these efforts from prototype to production. For this role, the candidate must be able to work well in a fast-paced team environment, communicate clearly, and have a consistent track record of delivering high-quality products. The candidate must either be willing to locate or commute to St. Mary’s County, Maryland. The candidate must either possess, or be able to obtain, a security clearance.

Responsibilities:

  • Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected Manned-Unmanned Teaming products and projects.
  • Assign resources, manage personnel, manage risk, ensure performance quality, monitor overall program and contract performance.
  • Identify process gaps, measure progress, and balance engineering and program efficiency with process overhead.
  • Develop budgets and operating plans to guide work execution.
  • Oversee program scheduling; including the creation, maintenance, monitoring and negotiation of task schedules with the customer.
  • Lead delivery of program deliverables in accordance with the agreed project schedules.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer across all program contracts.
  • Lead diverse teams with varied technical and management expertise.
  • Work closely with engineering leads along with systems, RF, control systems, software and mechanical engineers.
  • Understand and manage subcontractor and vendor relationships.
  • Provide people management and professional development for team members.
  • Identify opportunities for program growth; develop and execute capture strategies.
  • Lead and assist in developing proposals for existing and new customers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Good energy and a great attitude
  • 6+ years of program/project management and supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with customer interfacing and developing customer relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Ability to obtain, at a minimum, a DoD SECRET level clearance.
  • Willingness to Learn
  • US Citizenship.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • BS in Engineering.
  • Experience with system integration and flight testing.
  • Experience with Tactical Aircraft or Unmanned systems.
  • Professional work experience in Command and Control of Uncrewed Systems.
  • Experience with product development.

Candidate selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
