CTSi Announces New Partnership Agreement With Strathmore, Walton Arts Center, and Dramatists Guild of America
December 8th, 2011
Coherent Technical Services Inc.(CTSi), a national leader specializing in high-tech solutions and services, is pleased to announce a partnership with Strathmore, Walton Arts Center, and the Dramatists Guild of America to provide web application development and design services.
Located one-half mile outside the Capital Beltway in North Bethesda, Maryland, Strathmore provides affordable, accessible, multi-disciplinary arts programming in the Mansion at Strathmore, the Music Center at Strathmore, and on its scenic 11-acre site. Artistic offerings presented by Strathmore in the Music Center include world-class performances by major international artists of folk, rock, blues, pop, R&B, jazz, world music, show tunes and classical music. The Mansion at Strathmore is home to more intimate artistic programs presented by Strathmore in the warm and acoustically superb 100-seat Dorothy M. and Maurice C. Shapiro Music Room, the Gudelsky Gallery Suite exhibition spaces, the outdoor Gudelsky Concert Pavilion, and outdoor Sculpture Gardens. CTSi looks forward to working closely with Strathmore to extend their reach deeper into an already rich online offering, as well as expand the online ticketing and patron services functionality through the Tessitura Network Enterprise Software.
Walton Arts Center opened in 1992, and since then has continued to grow and serve the Northwest Arkansas community by bringing great performing artists and entertainers from around the world to the region. The Center is known as Arkansas' premier center for the performing arts and entertainment, featuring a full season of week-long Broadway shows, a jazz series, kids and family programming, dance, music and theatrical performances, spring and summer performing arts-based camps, the summer AWE (Arts with Education) teacher's professional development Institute, plus a host of community based events, including productions by the University of Arkansas and TheatreSquared. CTSi will work in close partnership with the Walton Arts Center to integrate their expanding and deep cultural offerings on the web, through both a rich content management system and integration with the Tessitura Network Enterprise Software.
The Dramatists Guild of America, headquartered in New York, was established over eighty years ago, and is the only professional association which advances the interests of playwrights, composers, lyricists and librettists writing for the living stage. The Guild has over 6,000 members nationwide, from beginning writers to the most prominent authors represented on Broadway, Off-Broadway and in regional theaters. In addition to its contract services, the Guild acts as an aggressive public advocate for dramatists' interests and assists dramatists in developing both their artistic and business skills through its publications, which are distributed nationally, and the educational programs which it sponsors around the country. CTSi will continue to expand the online member offerings of the Dramatists Guild of America through the diverse extensions of the Blackbaud Enterprise Software. Through this partnership, CTSi looks forward to assisting in ensuring that theater in America will continue to flourish and grow.
The Web Application Development Division at CTSi continues its mission of providing outstanding customer service and quality products, while extending CTSi capabilities to all forms of electronic media.
