Position Title
Risk Manager

Job Description
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Prepares and coordinates the plans and schedules for new or existing programs. Analyzes effects of projects upon various areas such as engineering, and supportability IPTs to determine the most practical and cost-effecient methods to obtain the required resources. Coordinate, prioritize and schedule work within the members of the IPT to meet program and customer requirements.

Education
Bachelors degree from an accrediated college in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education

Experience
Individuals should possess five (5) or more years of experience in support of DoD or other US government agency programs/projects in the areas of PMA support

Show leadership ability
Strong problem solving ability
Facilitates interpersonal relationships, resolves conflicts quickly and tactfully, and positively influences others
Familiarity with DoD standards and development is required
Familiarity with helicopter systems is desired
Experience in working schedules for complex/large organizations
Ability to take lead working with multiple customers, companies and organizations in the development of integrated cost and schedules
Capable of identifying schedule disconnects, taking action by calling meetings with required functions/personnel to negotiate actions necessary for effective resolution
Demonstrates ability to prepare status reports and metrics, make presentations as required
Demonstrates presentation skills to make schedule related presentations to senior management and customers
