Project Analyst

Coherent Technical Services, Inc is seeking a Project Analyst (junior to journeyman level) to support an engineering effort developing a Naval Aviation Landing System.  

The role will perform the following tasks:

  • Conduct engineering process development and management duties to include process auditing, configuration auditing, and technical report writing.
  • Perform activity documentation updates based on engineering and asset inventory coordinator inputs.  
  • Draw conclusions and devise solutions to problems relating to improvement of management effectiveness, organizational structures, work methods and procedures, efficiency, and resource requirements, utilization, or control.
  • Develop and draft program or project milestones, monitors project progress, and maintains financial, acquisition, quality control, maintenance, or training documentation.
  • Perform work measurement studies, program or project operations efficiency reviews, cost studies, or workload change impact analyses.
  • Relies upon and uses automated management information systems in performing fact-finding, analytical, and advisory functions.
  • Conduct procurement coordination and processing.
  • Calculate engineering development status reporting (metrics).
  • Input procedure updates on a shared repository.

Education/Certifications:

  • BS or BA degree in a Business, Management, or a technical discipline. Allowable Substitutions: Associate degree in a Business, Management, or Technical discipline plus 4 years’ additional work experience with analysis techniques, financial analysis, data collection and reports processing may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Experience:

  • Would prefer a total of (3+) years of experience with preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents including systems engineering, system operations and testing.
  • Experience writing technical publications using sources including engineering artifacts, developer notes, technical reports, briefs, and interviews with technical staff.
  • Knowledge of engineering development lifecycle.
  • Experience with asset management.
  • Understand government processes and procedures and possess strong organization, documentation, and project management skills.

U.S. Citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility. Must be able to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.
