Our engineering team has an immediate opening for several Senior/Mid-level Systems Engineers. The positions are located at CTSi headquarters in Southern Maryland in support of multiple aircraft avionics integration efforts. This is a highly technical position that is customer facing, will require international travel, and requires a high level of initiative. The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate system design information to a large spectrum of engineering disciplines, as well as customers at all leadership levels. The preference is the successful candidates would be willing to work full time in St. Mary’s County, Maryland, however, under the right circumstance, consideration for the possibility of remote work will be considered. In addition, the successful candidate will either possess, or be eligible to receive, a Secret security clearance.

Education/Certifications:

• BS degree (MS preferred) in Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program.

Experience:

• System architecture & design, including documentation / artifact capture.
• Requirements management, including capture, decomposition, & tracing.
• Aircraft avionics or weapons integration experience.
• Understand the RFM process to successfully gain an ATO for the avionics systems to be integrated.
• Understand RTOS, OMS/UCI, 1553, Ethernet.
• Modular Open Systems Architecture principals.
• Understanding of Model-Based Systems Engineering.
• System integration & testing.
• Change Request / Change Management (CR/CM) techniques & processes.
• Prior experience performing detailed analysis and preparing for Design Reviews.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.
• Link-16 knowledge or experience a plus.
• Knowledge of AGILE workflows a plus.
