Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) User Segment Senior/Lead Test Engineer

CTSi is seeking a Senior/Lead Test Engineer with expertise in testing complex military systems, managing test programs (TEMP, test procedures, test execution) and reporting on system and component test events. The individual will integrally work with the Space Force Space System Commands Military Communication and Positioning Navigation and Timing (PNT) (MilComm & PNT) portfolio to support next-generation capability that are resilient to the threats. The individual will have proven capability to plan, build, conduct pre-during-post test meetings and test events. Including but not limited to participating in Integrated Test Team (ITT) meetings, test readiness reviews, overseeing installations and checkout of PNT equipment, supervising and coordinating with participating agencies, conducting tests, analyzing data, documenting results, and providing SME expertise in troubleshooting and resolving test-related problems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Math, or Science and minimum of 10 years of related experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills to enable working, interfacing, and interrelating with diverse personnel and dynamic teams
  • Demonstrated Test and Evaluation working experience and ability to review and deliver technical documents and briefings
  • Comprehensive strategy for verifying specification and ICD requirements that, when implemented, will be realizable and cost effective
  • Verification process that is comprehensive and demonstrates a high degree of balance with respect to verification of performance, mitigation of technical risk, and minimization of cost
  • Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance

Desired: Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

  • Experience and familiarity working with DoD acquisition organizations on an ACAT I / II program
  • Military experience
  • Experience working specifically on a SE&I contract
  • Space vehicle communication as well as other GPS related experience
  • Experience analyzing and resolving proposed technical changes to technical baseline (i.e., interface documents, specifications documents, architecture products) using sound systems engineering disciplines
  • Experience developing and reviewing technical requirements pertaining to ACAT I/II program, including submittals of contractor documentation, interface control and system level documentation for User Segment related activities
  • Providing technical support for the Military GPS (MGUE) programs, including interfacing with the SSC and prime contractors, support for acquisition activities/milestones, technical evaluations, design reviews for software and hardware, and contractor/government testing
