Northrop & Associates, (“JHNA”), Coherent Technical Services, (“CTSi”), and EXPANSIA Group, (“EXPANSIA”) today announced their merger to form a newnational defense technology corporation supporting warfighters, operators, andprogram offices through expertise in digital engineering, full-spectrumsimulation, and advanced fabrication. The merger establishes the foundation fora new Falfurrias Management Partners defense technology platform that will continueto fulfill existing contracts with the DoD, DARPA, NASA, U.S. Navy, Army, AirForce, Space Force, and commercial partners.
Engineeredto move at the speed and scale of modern conflict, the corporation deliversdefense customers end-to-end support across the full acquisition and missionlifecycle, from research and development to sustainment and readiness. Bycombining patented technologies in artificial intelligence and human-machineteaming, modular open systems architecture, integrated digital environments,and additive manufacturing, the organization is positioned to solve thecritical technical challenges shaping the next era of national security acrossland, sea, air, and space. Included in the merger is CTSi’s MudbucketTMsoftware, which facilitates quick and inexpensive upgrades to aviation systems.

The combined corporation employsmore than 525 professionals operating from key defense hubs including NewportNews, Va., Patuxent River, Md., Huntsville, Al., Nashua, NH., and San Diego,CA. The corporation also operates a 100,000-square-foot advanced prototypingand fabrication facility in Patuxent River, Md, supporting rapidexperimentation, testing, and transition to operational use.
Thispartnership represents the fifth platform investment within Falfurrias’ federalgovernment services and technology investment campaign. Alongside CEO IanNorthrop, Falfurrias’ Marybeth Wootton, Joe Price and GrantHundley will all join the Company board.
